Spacious Showroom at San Jose

This looks like a normal rabbit show room.

It looks like that exhibitors got a lot of space.

If you get an overall view of the showroom, you'll see how much space we have!

The show is not really small, it's a normal sized 6-judge show.  The showroom is unbelivably huge.
What happens is that on Saturday there was an Indian Music Festival next to the original showroom Fiesta Hall.   Our wonderful fair manager felt that the loud music would not be good for the rabbits, so she moved the rabbit show to the Expo Hall that uses a different gate from the music event.  The square footage of this Expo Hall is over 30,000 sq.ft.  It is bigger than any of the rabbit showroom that we normally go to, except the ARBA conventions.

This is what the Expo Hall looks like after the show was over.   My Angoras are still at the left corner wating for me to pull them out for the last trip to my van.      It is a wonderful building, judges and exhibitors are falling in love with it.  We are hoping that some of the bigger shows such as state convention or even WCC would consider this venue.  The fairgrounds are nicely maintained, got leveled parking areas, there are 3 hotels immediately next to the fairgrounds, and there are many more hotels within a mile or two.   There are restaurants, fast food, shopping centers close by.

Camellia Wins Reserve In Show at San Jose

Raelynne and Camellia are sisters, the only two in the litter.  Both are beautiful and both have potential to go to the top.   Since there are only one BOB in each show, they are the BOV colored and BOV white competing for that honor in order to compete for the Best In Show or Reserve In Show.

Pretty Camellia wins some BOB but in a majority of the time, her sister Raelynne gets the honor.

At San Jose in show C, Camellia gets the BOB honor, she is waiting patiently for her chance to the top.

Camellia gets close, judge Alysia Call awards the Reserve In Show to Camellia in show C.

Do You See Orange?

Do you see “orange”?  If you do, I hope you are seeing the table cloth!

I am a fawn French Angora.  As you can see my color and the table cloth that I’m sitting on are very different.

Even with the sunlight shining on me, I am still not orange.

If you ever hear anyone says that my color is orange, tell him that he needs to have his eyesight checked!
