Please Vote NO!

It is not Micky Mouse business, it is IMPORTANT to vote.
On January 27, Betty posted the message about the NARBC color ballot:

Northern California Angora Guild: Important Message About NARBC Color Ballot (ncag.blogspot.com)

I received a great deal of positive reactions to the post either publically or privately.  I appreciate it.

On February 28, links to a podcast are posted on:

Northern California Angora Guild: A New Podcast Interview with Betty (ncag.blogspot.com)

this subject is a part of the interview.

Today is March 1, the deadline for voting is March 4.   I hope all those who are eligible to vote have already mailed in the ballots.   If not, please send your ballot by mail ASAP!   It is important, it is the future of how our rabbits are classified and described.

The future of the Angora breeds is in your hands, please vote NO on this irrational and unreasonable ballot.

Here and There at Cloverdale

We have a visitor from West Virginia: Sara Cowgill raised English Angora in WV, she just recently relocated to Fort Bragg that is about 75 miles away from Cloverdale.  She comes by to visit.  Hope she'll have Angoras to show next time we see her again.

Stephanie raised Lionhead for a while.  She saw the 4H youth carrying Lionheads, she got to participate.

Carol's major breed is the American Fuzzy Lop, Cathy Szychulda is the breed judge.   Carol does well in both AFL and French Angora.  She is the first place national sweepstakes winner of both the French Angora and American Fuzzy Lop.

Carol, Casey and Stephanie are doing their grandma talks.   All three are grandmas and Carol's newest granddaughter was born a couple weeks ago.

Casey is catching up with grooming a Satin Angora.

Lillian is holding her Mini Rex, but would you believe she shows a French Angora white buck?

Lillian's mom Airi is also carrying a Mini Rex.

Mini Rex breeder Sue Morton is trying on an Angora hat.  She likes it!

Bri is also enjoying her Angora hat.

We help each other taking rabbits on and off the table.   Stephanie is carrying two English Angora white bucks for Betty.

Stephanie helps Carol to carry a French Angora.

Betty is helping Carol to carry a white French Angora.

Casey is helping to carry a French Angora off the table.

Stephanie is carrying a cavy.  Where does it come from and whose cavy is it?  No clue!

Betty takes a quiet time reading some e-mails from her phone.

The Satin Angora breed is considered as dual purpose, wool and meat, the loin and the butt are very important.  Of course for most of us Angora lovers, they are also pets and companions.

Show A English Angora Judging at Cloverdale

The English Angoras are very popular amongst the spectators.

The fair has some non rabbit people watching the judging, they are fascinated by the puppy-like English Angora.

As per the Angora tradition, the white variety is judged before the colored variety.

The English Angora white senior doe is the best of variety winner.

A couple of semi cut down English Angora colored senior bucks along for the ride to be on the judging table.  It's good for the exhibitor to earn some sweepstakes points and it's good for the judges to get familiar with the Angora body type.

The English Angora colored senior bucks are being evaluated, and this is the class winner.

The first place English Angora colored senior buck is also the BOSB winner.

The English Angora colored senior doe usually is the one to beat.

Judge Kate likes the colored senior doe!

The English Angora BOB goes to Betty's colored senior doe.  At the end of the day, she advances to the Best In Show.
