Mid Autumn Festival 2026

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival, also called Harvest Moon Festival, it is one of the three major festivals in Asia.   This is the only Asian festival that has a rabbit in the folklore.   The folklore was told in older blogposts, here is the earliest one:

Rabbit and moon cake are associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival, but not cavy.  Guess the cavy is added on to reflect the show at King City includes a cavy show.
