Show A English Angora Judging at Antioch

Show A judge for Angoras is Misty Polasik.

Youth Delani helps as the table clerk.

Judge Misty evaluates an English Angora that is not in the prime show coat.

Judge Misty comments on the second place colored senior buck, Delani records comments.

Here comes the first place colored senior buck.  Judge Misty shows the fine points to Delani.

Judge Misty comments and Delani appreciates a full coated English Angora.
Delani has been featured on our blog since she was in her mom Danielle's tummy, both mom Danielle and grandma Meloyde raised wool breeds in the past or some at the present.   See Delani in the past 12 years: Northern California Angora Guild

Delani gets the chance to feel an English Angora.

Judge Misty comments on the first place English Angora colored senior doe.

The two first place winners competing for the BOV and BOB.

The two first place English Angora senior buck and senior doe are so close that judge Misty has to look at the fine points.    There should not be too much surprise, the two are littermate brother and sister.

In the past judge Misty had selected the doe as the BOB and even BIS but today, judge Misty picks the buck as the BOB.

Showroom Scenes at Antioch

California Rabbit and Cavy Shows sponsors triple all breed shows at Antioch, California on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

Though the ARBA convention is coming up in one week, the local showroom is still full of exhibitors.

Some are leaving for Indianapaolis in a couple of days but still cannot resist coming to this show.

The wool corner, lots of fluffs and pretty items.

Exhibitors are happy with the venue and the location.  All expressed appreciation for the show and the venue.   Antioch used to have open rabbit shows during the fair season in June for about 20 years from around 1989 to 2009, unfortunately the fair has discontinued the open shows but retains the youth shows.   Us open exhibitors are happy to be able to come back to this location for the regular shows.
The next CRCS show at this location will be February 14, 2026.

Cute French Angora Bunnies

Angora exhibitors don't breed a lot due to the requirements of maintenance.

When there is a litter, we got to show them off.

Mama Carol is very happy with the litter that includes 4 colored junior does.   Guess what? There are 3 more does in the litter of 8.  The 3 white sisters are no in the show at San Jose but will be at the next show.

Sisters love each other?

One sister trying to dominate the other sissy?

This post concludes the reports and photos of the 5 all breed shows and 1 specialty show at San Jose, CA. on October 18-19, 2025.
