Laika Rummelhoff Eslinger, June 28, 1979 - November 2, 2014.
Laika was a multi-talented beautiful young lady who had accomplished a lot during her life. She showed French Angora and Satin Angora in both open and youth during the mid 1990s with her mother Charlene Duncan. Her rabbits were top quality, won a lot in local and national shows. She was the designer of many of our prizes including but not limited to our 1998 Angora National and 2009 ARBA convention t-shirts. See photos below. Laika lived a brave life, unfortunately she lost her 15-year battle to depression on November 2, 2014. She was 35 years old.
There will be a celebration of her life at 11 am on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 11180 Vincent Lane, Reno, NV. Potluck and informal. All invited to join.

Laika will be greatly missed. I think of her often and I was really enjoying a renewed friendship on FB. Charlene, we cannot make it this weekend, but we will be there in spirit and in our thoughts. I wish you peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Laika and I attended high school together in Sparks. She made a difficult time of my life a little better. Her kindness, quick-wit, and stunning beauty remain an inspiration to me.
