ARBA Convention 2016 - Day One

2016 ARBA convention was held at the San Diego County Fairgrounds at Del Mar, CA during October 8 to October 12, 2016.   It's the biggest show of the year with exhibitors, visitors and rabbits flying and driving from all over the country and from the world.

Due to traveling, we missed one day of blog post.   Now that the convention is over and I've returned home, I'll post photos and give descriptions.   It's a little late but better late than never.

At the entrance of the main building, there is a display of trophies and items that represent the surf culture in the area.

Betty of course cannot resist to be included in a picture.

Carol W. likes to be seen with the display too.

Showroom is for showing rabbits and rabbit related items.  With rabbits, a dumpster is a necessity to be used to collect rabbit wastes.

It's a place where all like minded people who can talk rabbits all week long.

Most rabbits are in their coops but there are still some yet to arrive.

The ARBA booth is well stocked with logo wears.

Kevin, Autumn and Avalon have a photo taken with Betty.   Kevin is the owner of KW cages, the designer of the Show Pro program, the supporter of the convention; he is the major force of running the convention.

Carol W and Betty are working at the National Angora Rabbit Breeder Club booth and Karen at the right is the booth chair.

After Carol W and Betty complete their booth shift, Matt and Casey join Karen at the booth to start their booth duty.

While Matt, Casey and Karen are at the booth, Pat checks in her items for Wool/Skein/Garment contest.

This doll in Angora attire is competing in the "novelty" category.
