Tonto National Monument is a national monument in the Superstition Mountains of central Arizon.

The area is known for its characteristic saguaro cacti.
|
|
People during the 13 to 15th centries farmed in the Salt River Valley and supplemented their living with hunting and gathering native plants.
|
|
During the 13th to the 15th centries, the people lived in cliff dwellings.
|
|
Many of these cliff dwellings are well-preserved today.
