Fuyu Persimmons
When a persimmon tree loses the leaves, the fruits are ripe.
|
The Fuyu persimmons shape like tomatoes, maybe a bit flatter than the tomatos. They are crunch and sweet in the early stage of riping, can be eaten right out of the tree. No astringent taste. |
If the Fuyu is in the late stages of being ripe, it could be sweet and soft, still delicious without any bad taste. |
The name Fuyu is especially welcome by Chinese speaking people as it pronouced the same as "rich abundance". Who does not want to be rich and be abundant? |
Wish everyone be Rich and Abundant! |
