Joanna Gets a Hair Cut

In August, there is one more show at Petaluma, and Joanna won another BOB.  Her first coat has been on her for a full 19 months, probably a record.

There is no mat or web, however our area goes into a show hiatus for 2-3 months.  The next show even with the best case scenario will be in November.  So the rational thing to do is to prepare her for a different hairdo.

The hardest thing is to do that first cut.  As soon as the first cut is done, it's a situation of no return.

The cut is next to the skin to take out all old coat, it's sometimes referred to as the "pineapple cut".

Isn't her body beautiful, round and wide.

Looks like a peacock from the side.

A "wool fall".

The length is incredible.

All good things come to an end, Joanna is ready for the next chapter of her life.
