Monique Gets a Hair Cut

We saw the comparison between Monique's first coat and the current matured coat in yesterday's post.

Monique did very well with her matured coat, won three BOB in June, July and August.   This BOB in June advanced to the specialty Best In Show.   She also won a BOB at Petaluma in July and another BOB at Petaluma in August. 

After the Petaluma show on August 21, we were informed that there won't be any shows for a minimum of 60 days.  It does not make any sense to continue holding on to the coat.

Monique is sitting in the shade ready for her big spa day.

As soon as the first coat happens, it's a road to nakedness.

Monique's wool from her back is hanging on her body.

Like a waterfall, this is a wool-fall.

After the wool has been pulled from Monique's body, her body is exposed.

Nice body depth.

Almost there.

Monique is a lady, you don't expect to see her totally nude, don't you?
