"Alice and I went to a Korean supermarket to look around. The market was neat and clean, we were very impressed. It was very surprising to see small shops selling souvenirs, clothing, jewelry, cell phones, bridal supplies, ... on two sides of the market while the regular supermarket items of fruits, veggies, meat, fish, frozen foods were in the middle of the store.

One of the small shops sells fur coats; yes, fur coats inside a supermarket. There were mink coats and there were Rex coats. I asked for permission to take some pictures. The first picture is a beautiful Rex ruffle shawl with the price tag of $900 with a 30% off sign at the top of the rack. The third photo shows other Rex coats behind the ruffle shawl.

On the opposite side of the store, another shop sells traditional Korean costumes; shown in photo #4. You may notice the apples and oranges in the same picture.

We did not buy any fur coat but did buy some apples and oranges.

This is a very interesting market."
