Kimekomi Dolls - A Japanese Art Form

The Kimekomi art form has been created 260 years ago in Japan.   The major forms of Kimekomi are decorated balls and dolls.     Here are two rabbit Kimekomi dolls.

These two Kimekomi mice are a variation of Kimekomi balls.

Here are another pair of beautiful Kimekomi rabbit dolls.

And, here is the artist who made the rabbit and mouse Kimekomi dolls.   Carolyn takes classes on Kimekomi doll making and practice the art.

If you are interested in this art form, google "Kimekomi" and you'll find the history, supplies, classes, youtube videos of this art form.
