Show A English Angora Judging at San Jose

Now we return to the San Jose show reports.  In show A, judge Misty Polasik has Cory San Joseas her "assist".   An "assist" is someone who has passed all the requirements to become a rabbit judge except the practical handling of rabbits in shows.  The "assist" has to work with 8 judges in 8 differnt show dates to complete the practical training of working in shows.    Casey is helping as the table clerk.

This is Cory's 4th show working as an assist.

In the coops are the colored senior buck class, quite of few of them are in the "summer hairdo" of shorter coats than normal.

Lots of discussion between judge Misty and Cory.

Cory comments on one of the English Angoras.

Cory watches judge Misty placing the first place colored senior buck.

An overview of the English Angora judging.

The winner of the colored senior doe class.

Judge Misty has the English Angora BOB and BOSB on the table for the final evaluation.  The BOB goes to the colored senior doe and the BOSB goes to the colored junior buck.  The colored senior doe advances to the Best In Show at the end of the day.

One of the young lady likes those bucks with summer hairdo and has a photo taken with a non-winner.
