BAARG Friday Night Specialty Show at Anderson

 

BAARG stands for Blown Away Angora Rabbit Guild.  The home base of the club is in WA state helmed by Tammy Vaughn.   BAARG comes all the way down to Anderson, CA to put on two Angora Specialty shows.  Today's post is about the show held on the evening of Friday, December 13, 2024.



Judge Josh Humphries judges the BAARG Angora specialty show.  



Judge Josh starts with the white English Angora.  On the table the the BOV white senior doe.

The BOB English Angora Angora is the colored senior doe.


The French Angoras are loaded in the judging coops waiting for their turn.

Tammy Vaugh clerks for the Giant Angora judging.  On the table is one of the chestnut Giant Angoras.  Tammy is the COD holder who successfully to get chestnut Giant Angora accepted by the ARBA in two showings, an exemplary pass.  




The BAARG specialty Best In Show goes to Betty Chu's English Angora senior doe Aurelia.



Reserve In Show goes to Carol Green's French Angora senior doe Angela. 



Tammy's little baby buck got great comments but hard to compete with big girls.   Yes, that's a 3-months-old chestnut Giant Angora.



Tammy and her group make cute prizes.   Betty gives a close up of what she got: a note buck with Best In Show date and location printed, three glitterly gold pens for the BOB and BOSB English Angora and BOSB French Angora.   Love them.
