Black Based Fawn or "Sooty" Fawn

Yesterday we posted photos of "clean" fawn English Angora.  Today we'll have a "sooty" fawn.  Here is a photo of a black based fawn English Angora, the counter part of the black tort.   Her genetic make up is A-B-C-D-ee.      Though having black/blue tips and bands are not considered as desirable, the type and the wool are still way more important than the color on the show table.  This doe's name is Chu's Zeeva, who is one of the winningest English Angora with 48 legs, 41 BOB, 23 BIS and 7 RIS.

This is a black based or "sooty" fawn French Angora.  Her name is Uptown Girl who also has won a good number of shows.

If you look at the ears and the mask of both photos, you can clearly see the black tips.  These black tips give away the genetic make up of: A-B-C-D-ee.
