Bunny Power: Sunflowers, Sunflowers and Sunflowers

Black oil sunflower seeds and whole oats are mixed with rabbit pellets to give rabbits fiber and oil.   

There was no plan to grow sunflowers but ...

...sunflower seeds being a part of the rabbit diets and also being the squirrels' favorites, it is inevitable that the seeds are spread around.   In the middle of the veggie garden, these sunflowers gloriously bloom in the sun.

At a different spot a bit outside of the veggie garden, an extra large sunflower blooms.

This spot is intended for a small bamboo patch but the sunflower is growing faster and bigger than the bamboo shoots.
