Betty Grooming English Angora at Portola Valley

While Casey is grooming her beautiful white Satin Angora, Betty is busy grooming an English Angora.   This is Tess's first time going to an Angora show, she watches both Betty and Casey groom.  Tess is now a proud owner of one of Casey's beautiful Satin Angora juniors.

Though I do not have many English Angora youngsters, I am able to bring back the show coats of older rabbits.   This is Evans who is in his second coat.

Evans has a very nice second coat, actually even better than his first coat.   It takes more effort to bring back a second coat than keeping a first coat but it can be done and it's rewarding.

This is the only colored junior English Angora I have, Auston is 4-1/2 months old and starting a nice first coat.

Joanna is still in her first coat; born January 2020, this is her 17th month coat.   Joanna and Evans are littermates, Evans is an early bloomer while Joanna is a late bloomer.   Each has a nice coat at the end of June 2021 and still nice in July 2021, Joanna in her original coat while Evans was cut down and has come back to a second show coat.

We thank Carolyn Sawai for all the nice photos she took at Portola Valley.   Without her being there busy taking photos, we would not have so many scenes to share.
