Purple, Purple, Purple

Purple Artichoke flower is stunning.

Purple lavender flowers are attractive.

Inspired by the natural purple flowers, Betty dyes Angora wool purple to make mittens and bought a ball of purple commercial yarn for the cuffs.

Purple Angora yarn and purple commercial yarn are in harmony.   It's more desirable to use the commercial yarn for the edges because Angora does not have memory.    If stretched, Angora yarn does not bounce back thus the cuff would lose integrity.  Most of the commercial yarn have elasticity to bounce back after being stretched.
