Latch Hooked Rugs

Karyn from Oregon does latched hooking; she proudly proclaims, "I am a hooker!"  This particular rug uses recycled cloth.  She cut the cloth into small strips then hook them onto the rug base.

This rug uses old denims that Karyn cuts into strip then hooked onto to the rug base.

 

Here are two of her finished latch hooked rugs.

 

 

This is the rug that Karyn is working on during the Red Bluff show, it uses yarn instead of recycled cloth.   Karyn says, "Using yarn is a lot easier than using recycled cloth, I don't have to do any cutting of the material.
