Kool-Aid Dyeing

Betty had fun dyeing Angora skeins in Kool-Aid.

Here is a closeup of the Kool-Aid and the resulting Angora yarns.   The Pink Lemonade, Orange and Grape are readily available in most supermarkets but the Jamaica is a Mexican flavor that is hard to find.   A close substitute for the Jamaica is Cherry but the color is slightly different.

Another color that is very popular for dyeing but not shown here is Berry Blue.
