Remember When: The Early Photos of Broken English Angora
The broken English Angora has been trying to gain acceptance into the ARBA Standard of Perfection for a long time. These are the earliest photos of broken English Angora from the 1980s. The breeder was Bill Sharp; it is believed that Bill was the first person who created the broken pattern English Angora. This picture was taken by Candy Haenszel in the 1987 ARBA convention in Portland where Bill put on this three-fold display. The first time the broken English Angora passed a presentation was in 1995 convention by Irene Burns of Michigan, see http://ncag.blogspot.com/2007/06/remember-when-1995-presentation-of.html Unfortunately Irene's second presentation failed and she decided not to continue. |
