In parallel they almost look like twins.
We have two kitties now also! We adopted the first one from the local shelter and the second one followed Chloe home from school (and never left). Coincidentally, they both happen to be torties. However, one is rather homely and the other is beautiful.

Nikki and Mary Jane are not related, believe it or not. Nikki was born a feral cat in Morgan Hill, about 5 years old. Mary Jane is about 2 years old, was taken from a shelter in San Jose when her time was up. Both were rescued by "Town Cats of Morgan Hill" and I got them from Town Cats. I thought they were littermates when I selected them but I was wrong; I am happy that they get along very well.
