Raiding Sevenah's Nestbox

Betty loves Sevenah, she has several all breed Best In Show under her wool and she is also the winner of ARBA convention Best of Breed English Angora in 2007. She is sure a beauty when she is in her show coat, but....

when Sevenah is pregnant, she plucks herself bold for her nest building, a lot more wool than needed for her bunnies.

Here is a closer look at Sevenah's "spit balls" before and after her bunnies were born.

Not wanting to waste the good wool nor wanting to suffocate Sevenah's bunnies, Betty picks some of Sevenah's wool out of her nestbox and stores them in a shoe box. This is two litters' worth of Sevenah's nestbox wool, a total of 5 ounces.

Sevenah's nestbox wool is perfect for thick-n-thin lumpy yarn, Betty spins the 5 ounces into a skein of 94 yards of fluffy and soft art yarn.

The skein is in the sink to be washed and then dried.
