The ARBA convention was held in the San Diego county fairgrounds. The actual location of the fairgrounds is not in the City of San Diego, it's in the City of Del Mar.


In most cities, fairgrounds are located in low rent districts; the San Diego fairgrounds is an exception to the rule. Del Mar has some of the most beautiful beaches at the Pacific Ocean. Just by looking at the shops, we could tell that the town is very affluent.


Del Mar can also be considered as a very dog-friendly town. There is a dog beach that charges $3 fee to park and to enter. Dogs run loose on the beach, kind of reminding us of the scenes of Marley relieved himself on the dog beach in "Marley And Me".


There are two specialty dog treat shops within walking distance in the very crowded town square area. One of which is called the "The Dog Bakery". Here are photos inside and outside of this shop. One can draw conclusions about Del Mar's dog-friendliness or even dog-craziness from these pricey products.
