Sheep To Shawl

At Lambtown, there were teams competing in the "Sheep to Shawl" contest going on from 9:30 am to 2 pm.

Each team had designated people spinning the raw fiber into yarn, and then weaving the yarn into a shawl within the time period specified.

These photos were taken around 1 pm; the shawl was close to be completed. The team members were putting on the final touch in these photos.

It takes dedication, skill and team effort to make such a beautiful shawl in a very limited period of time.
