Goodbye Malenie, Hello Katie

Betty says,

"There is a very nice feed store called the "Feed Barn" in Gilroy. I buy hay, grains and special order rabbit pellets there. Unfortunately the distributor of the rabbit pellets is not very reliable, getting the order in on time is like pulling teeth. Melanie was always very patient with me and work hard to chase the distributor to get the rabbit pellets delivered.

Melanie went to San Jose State University; six months ago she graduated with a B.A. in Business Administration specializing in human resources. She looked for a job that would utilize her professional degree. In December, she was offered a job as human resource coordinator at Sun Microsystems. On the last day at Feed Barn, I went to the store to say goodbye to her and presented her with an Angora scarf as a go-away gift. The top picture is Melanie and I.

I just received a message from Melanie saying that she is very happy at her new job and that she appreciated all the supports from her friends.

Katie will be taking over some of Melanie's duties at the Feed Barn. She is very nice and considerate. I have already received a call from her asking whether a special order would be needed in December. Hello, Katie, I am looking forward to working with you. The second picture is Katie and Melanie."
