Yumiko Pays Tribute to Chie

Last November, our fellow English Angora breeder Chie in Japan lost her battle to cancer. Our readers may remember this post: http://ncag.blogspot.com/2005/11/tribune-to-chie.html

Chie left behind her family, quite a few animals and her business, Usagi to Kame.

One of her best friends, Yumiko, takes care of the animals and runs the business. Yumiko is doing a great job.

In the June double shows in Japan, Yumiko showed Chie's two favorite rabbits. Chu's Bambino and his son Granny. Granny took the Best of Breed, winning over his old dad. Both rabbits received excellent comments from the judges. Yumiko is very pleased with their performance. Pictures were taken of the two boys alone and with Yumiko. At the top, we see the prizes the boys won shown with Chie's photo with Bambino as a tribute to Chie.
