Sceneroom Scenes at San Jose

The much anticipated Santa Clara County Rabbit and Cavy Shows March show has arrived.  

We are sharing photos of showroom scenes.

Rabbits stayed in the building overnight, exhibitors arrange their carriers on high stands.

Exhibitors are putting rabbits on the judging table.

On another table, Angoras are waiting to be judged.

Even though this is quite a big show with 9 judges on Saturday and 6 judges on Sunday, the showroom stll look sparse because this is one of the largest venues used for rabbit shows.  It's 45,000 sq. ft., larger than an acre that is 43,560.

We have visitors from Thailand, Mr. and Mrs. Bart.  Bart is working on his ARBA judge's license, Saturday is his first "assist" and Sunday the second "assist".  He needs to pass 8 assists to be granted the license.   His wife video tapes the entire process.
