Carol's Rabbits Are Big Winners at Redway

Today we take a break from reports of the benefit show at Petaluma to view photos of Carol's great show weekend at the CRCS shows at Redway.  We will return to Petaluma shows tomorrow.

Carol had planned to judge and show at Petaluma Breast Cancer Benefit Show on August 19.  Unfortunately she had a health scare and missed the show.   When CRCS moved the August 26-27 Crescent City show to Redway due to fire at the CA/OR border, Carol is well enough to go and her lovely hubby Jim is on chauffeur duty.

Jim found this cute cottage for them to stay the weekend, it's deep in the redwoods. The two-day show provided an exciting show opportunity as well as a short getaway vacation.

Carol brings with her one French Angora, the only Angora at the show, and the white doe wins the Reserve In Show from judge Jordan Miner in show B on Saturday. Best In Show is Kelly's Tan.

Carol's rabbit did even better in show C, Carol's American Fuzzy Lop is the Best In Show picked by judge Louis Potter in show C on Saturday.  Reserve In Show is Griffin's Havana.

The best is yet to come on Sunday, her two different American Fuzzy Lops are awarded Best In Show in show D and E.   In the photo are the three American Fuzzy Lops that won a Best In Show each by three judges on Saturday and Sunday: from left to right are judge Ted Deloyola, proud mama Carol, judge Lauralee Erbe and judge Louis Potter.

After the five very productive and enjoyable shows, Carol and Jim did some tourist things.  Tiny Carol is in front of the Founders Tree.

Here is Carol's lovely hubby Jim.

Jim and Carol visit the giant redwood that has a drive through cutout.  Their van is a bit too wide to actually drive through but it's fun to see the famous redwood and take a photo.
