Show B French Angora Judging at Corralitos

The French Angora white variety rabbits are on the table waiting for judge Jeremy to finish English Angora judging.   Carol, Bri and Carolyn Silvas chatting while waiting.

A colored senior buck on the judging table.

Judge Jeremy checks the wool of a colored senior buck.

Judge Jeremy selects a chocolate senior buck as the class winner, Bri records.

Judge Jeremy flips over a colored senior doe to check the underside.

A beautiful chocolate senior doe is being examined by judge Jeremy.  Her density tops all other French Angora but is faulted for not having enough guard hairs.

The fawn senior doe wins the class with more proper texture and type.
(A footnote: French Angora standard calls for abundance of guard hairs.  All things equal a re-growth coat tends to gain more advantage than the virgin coat.  However, not all French Angora is capable to re-grow a show coat after the first coat.)

The BOSB French Angora is Bri's colored senior buck Mars.  This is Bri's first Grand Champion.

The BOB French Angora goes to Betty's colored senior doe Monique who is also judge Jeremy's choice of the specialty Best In Show.
