It’s Loquat Time

We have several loquat trees. 

In early summer, the trees bear fruits.

No exception this year, there are lots of nice loquats on the trees.  

The are quite pretty and somewhat tasty.

The drawback is that the fruits have a very short shelf life.  After picked, the fruits need to be consumed immediately or no more than a day.

Most of our rabbits like the fruits, especially the French Angora.   The French Angora can eat several a day and still beg for more.  

We do eat some ourselves.
