"Showroom" at Monterey

In most all breed shows, there is a showroom, it's either a building or a barn.   We would use the word "room", but ....

... at the show in Monterey on August 29, the showroom is a huge lawn.  Why?

Due to COVID 19, we all need to keep social distance and need fresh air to lessen the chance of virus transmission.   A totally open air showing makes us feel safe.

The attendance is good, and as we could see from the photos above, there are lots and lots of pop up tents to shield the sun and wind and to define space to keep social distance.

CRCS new secretary Kelly at work under the blue tent, and superintendent Arian comes by to talk shops.

KW cages has a big booth, and you may recognize the person in charge: our favorite judge Allen.

Allen is assuming a different job at Monterey show.

Judging tables are also in the open air, judges and helpers all wear masks.   Maddie and Courtney at work.

New Zealands on Alan's table.
