Life Cycle of a Night Blooming Cereue





The bud starts very little.


Some buds grow but some would not make it.  We started with 5 buds, 3 developed.  



This bud is growing and looks very healthy.


As the name suggested, Night Blooming Cereus only bloom at night.   



As the night falls, the bud started opening up.




A partially bloomed Cereus.


 

It opens up further.



The flower is in full bloom.  The air would be full of a jasmine like fragrant smell.



When delight comes, the flower started to wilt.



Before noon comes, it's The End.
