Same Color?

Saw this rabbit at the BVRA show at Stockton.   What color is it? Chocolate? Brown? Copper? or ???
Hint, it's a Mini Satin.

If I were to tell you that the Mini Satin above has the same color as the English Angora next to him, you may think that I'm crazy.  They don't look the same!  Would you believe that they have the same color genetics?   They both are aabbC-D-ee   and you may recognize that this is the color genetic make up of chocolate tort.   Yes, both of these rabbits are chocolate tort.   They are on the two extremes of how the wool/fur affects the coat color visually.    The one on the left is a junior Mini Satin and the other is a junior English Angora.    Due to the reflection of the Satin sheen, it tends to have the most intensive coat color.   On the other extreme, English Angora has the least guard hairs and the most wool, it dulls the color reflection and thus have the least color reflection.   Yes, they are the same color: Chocolate Tort.

Other than the fact that one is a broken and the other is a solid, these two rabbits also have the same color genetics.  They are both black tort aaB-C-D-ee.    Have to say that the distinction of their coats are not as shocking as the chocolate tort in the middle picture but we can still see the Mini Satin has visually much more intense color than the English Angora even though the color genetic make up of these two rabbits is the same.
