Friends from UK

Michael and Laura are father-daughter team from UK, they are devoted rabbit lovers.   They come to Indy to attend the ARBA convention, have fun and observe the difference from across the pond.

Laura's mom is a top Angora breeder in UK, she has a big show coming up in mid October thus could not go to Indy to attend the ARBA convention.      Laura's mom's Angora was the BIS winner of the Bradford show, biggest show in UK,  not too long ago.

Laura says,
I arrived home and my mother had many questions about the Angora’s, she was most jealous that we had met you and been able to see your Angora’s in real-life.    When we arrived back we had our 2nd largest Show, and I attach pictures of the winning Angora’s. My mother only showed one and it won BoB - The White is a Doe and she is just over 5 months old here.

Laura continues, "The Smoke which I am holding for another breeder was RU BoB, a good colour but it was not as even in its undercoat to its top coat."
(Betty's side note: The UK standard only recognizes one breed of Angora, thus it's not called English Angora.    "Smoke" is the same as our Black.)
