The club expected 300 rabbits/600 entries with 3 judges at the Placerville show. When the final number was tallied, there were 1100 rabbits/2200 entries and the club scrambled to hire 5 more judges. The building is suited for 3 judging stations and 300 rabbits but ended up with 8 judging stations, 1100 rabbits plus more people. The showroom was more crowded than a can of sardines. To complicate the matter, the temperature was in the high 90s/low 100s all day long.

These are late arrivals who got pushed outside. The temperature is in the 90s as early as 9 am, by afternoon, it's in triple digit.

The vendors are setting up outside in the heat, they eventually left early because of the heat.
The show committee did a very good job with these difficult situations. We are all very hopeful that the second show will be as well attended but in a more spacious showroom.
