Carol G's American Fuzzy Lop Wins Best of the Best at WCC

Kenya is the biggest winner at the West Coast Classic Event.
How did she get to be the biggest star of the show?

All the Best In Show winners, including the winners of the open all breed shows, youth all breed shows and all the specialty shows, are invited to go on the table to compete for the title of the "Best of the Best In Show".   The judges vote for their favorites.   From left to right the judges are: Nate Burbidge of UT, Eric Stewart of PA, (Josh Humphries of TN is next to Eric but not visible),Maddie Pratt of MI, Mike Avesing of IA, Vincent Consiglio of MA, David Moll of OH, Bryan Shirk of MI, Cheryl Eng-Link of HI, Briony Barns of KS, Scott Rodriguez of WY, Cole Rupprecht of ND and Ashley Garza of OH.

The two major contenders are Carol and Hailey; Carol's American Fuzzy Lop won Open all breed Best In Show in all three shows plus the specialty show.  Hailey's Mini Satin won all three youth all breed Best In Show.   This is the first time in WCC history that both open and youth are triple show winners.

The points are tallied then projected to a screen.  Each judge has three votes: first place rabbit gets 6 points, second place rabbit gets 3 points and the third place rabbit gets 1 point.   The final result shows that Carol's American Fuzzy Lop received 64 points, a runaway winner.

Ten judges have picture taken with Carol and her big winner.  Some of the judges had to catch flights at SFO, left before the tally was done.

Carol shows her American Fuzzy Lop with daughter Kendall who could not attend the shows regularly due to her busy life of being a high school ag teacher.   On Sunday, Kendall just flew in from New York after visiting brother Adam.  The next thing she knew was that Kenya is the biggest winner in the show.
