Timmy and Danielle's Baby Shower - Handmade Gifts, Part 1

Tim and Danielle got married last year and they are expecting a baby girl in August.   Danielle was surprised by a baby shower held during the backyard show/party at Carol G.'s backyard.   Danielle's mom Melodye is taking pictures of her daughter and granddaughter-to-be.

Here are the expecting daddy Tim and mommy Danielle.

Betty made this pair of pink Angora baby booties.  The process was more complicated than expected because being hand spun, hand dyed and hand knitted, it was hard to make a pair that are the same color, same size and the same look.   It took four booties to make a pair that look about the same.  

Betty's effort paid off as Danielle likes the booties.

Carol G. is a very accomplished knitter.  This baby cardigan is well made and adorable.  

Tim and Danielle's baby girl will be named Delani.   Carol W. made a blank with her name embroidered.

Lindsay made a little cape with a bear head; useful and cute.

John crocheted a white baby blanket for the special little girl.
