Casey Goes Goatless And Llamaless

One of Casey's morning routines is to feed her Llama Rock Steady and the Angora Goats. She has been keeping Angora goats since she and family moved to their Vacaville property in the 1990s.

Rabbits are always the top priority for Casey, but after some 15 years of keeping goats, Casey has switched her focus to dogs. In addition to show rabbits, she is now a regular in the dog show circuit.

Four goats and one Llama are in the back of the van to travel to their new home with Jackie and Bob in Prunedale.

Rock Steady inspects his new home with a view.

Four goats are not too far away.

Casey says,

"Our trip with 4 goats and Llama went very well. Using Gabrielle's Van worked perfect. I put down a tarp then my Truck bed rubber mat in the back of the Van and it worked great. Jackie and Bob have a great place there house is off Pesante road and on a small hill they have 8 acres usable lady the is separated into many pastures. 3 Horses, Bower goats, milk goats that had babies right now, so cute. They have 2 barns for rabbits and dogs, cats and a parrot. My critters will be very happy and have lots of love and room to play. They have a great view there. So I am happy for them and sad to see them go. You know how that is. Its the first time I have been goatless since we moved here. I had Bobbie Meyer's goats within a week of moving in. So I am happy, sad but relieved not to have to buy another ton of hay. Weird to go out and not have Mickey talking to me."
