Found On The Net: An Albino Raccoon

Raccoon is no stranger to most of our backyards, they are not exactly welcome visitors.

In a tourist attraction in Taiwan, there are a group of 15 raccoons on display. The most popular one is an albino raccoon; us rabbit breeders would call it a Ruby Eye White (REW). Since REW raccoon is considered a rarity, it has not being bred or improved. The size of this REW is smaller than the rest of the herd, it has poor eyesight and needs to be protected from the direct sun to prevent sunburn.

I love these animal facts you dig up. I showed my sister the curly horse and she was in disbelief! This is fun reading for not only us rabbit lovers, but animal lovers of all kinds.
