Fawnella Wins Specialty Best In Show

In the NCAG specialty show at Watsonville on Saturday, Chu's Fawnella took specialty Best In Show. She follows the leads of her sisters, Chu's Fawnrinda and Chu's Valencia, to gain the Best In Show credit under her wool.

Normally there would be photos of winners of open Best In Show and Reserve In Show; it was so HOT during the show that Betty and many others left the show early. Watsonville is a oceanside town that the normal summer temperature is in the 60s but on the show day, it was 100 degrees outside in the shade and well over 100 degrees in the barn under the metal roof. Rabbits and exhibitors were equally stressed by the heat and many gave up being judged for the breeds and/or for Best In Show.
