Where Is This?

Where were these pictures taken? Artic North?

It is north, but not Artic North. The top three pictures were taken this morning and the bottom three pictures were taken last week at the northern tip of California.

Cyndie took these photos. The first three pictures were the front of her house and rabbit barn this morning. When Cyndie got up this morning, she found a part of the rabbit barn smashed by the weight of the snow; and counted 22 broken or smashed trees in her yard. In her words, "What a mess!"

The fourth picture was taken a week ago of her barn; the fifth picture was taken at a creek close to Cyndie's home at Montague, CA.

The sixth picture was taken by Cyndie when she saw the Snow Shoe Hares at Juanita Lake a week ago.

One does not associate California with snow. Actually California has all kinds of weather condition from snowy northern tip and Sierra Mountain to the very warm Death Valley. It's not all sun and surf.
