King of Free Throw Meets Queen Emilia

This is Dr. Tom, a retired podiatrist and the King of Free Throw.

After helping his patients with foot problems for over 40 years, he retired at 70 years old. He said, "I had a mid-life crisis, I don't know what to do." Remembering his love for basketball in college, he decided to practice free throw. He bought all the books and videos and studied them seriously. Within one year, he was better than any of the books and videos he had ever read and seen.

On November 15, 1993 when he was 71, he made 2,750 free throws in a roll without a miss, it took him 12 hours to complete. Guinness Book of Record lists him as the greatest free throw shooter of all time, and so far his record is still intact.

Betty met Dr. Tom in Los Angeles. He is now 84 years old and still as healthy and strong as one could be, and he still free throws. While others are intrigued by his life, he is intrigued by Betty's English Angora. In the top photo, he is sitting next to Betty's rabbits with his famous basketball. In the second photo, he is holding Betty's multiple Best In Show winner Chu's Emilia.
