Dora Wins Group in Shows A and B on Saturday

On Saturday, March 4, 2017, the California State Convention used an unusual arrangement in selecting the top winners.   Rabbits were put in 5 groups by their special characters. Here is the listing in the show catalog:

Will be judged by Groups
Group 1 - Commercial Breeds: American Sable, Argente Bruin, Californian, Champagne, Cinnamon, Flemish Giant, Florida, Havana, New Zealand, Palomino, Silver Marten, Standard Chin
Group 2 - Fur & Wool Breeds: Fuzzy Lop, All Angoras, J. Woolies, Lionhead, Mini Rex, Rex, Satin, Mini Satin
Group 3 - Marked Breeds: Checkered Giant, Dutch, Dwarf Hotot, English Spot, Harliquin, Himi, Tan
Group 4 - Lops & Small Unmarked Breeds: Petite, Dwarf, Polish, Thrianta, Holland, Lop Mini Lop, French Lop, English Lop   
Group 5 - Rare Breeds: American, Belgian Hare, Beveren, American Chin, Giant Chin, Hotot, Creme, Lilac, Silver, Silver Fox, Rhinelander (Rare breeds based on The Livestock Conservency “Conservation Priority List”)
In show A, Matt's English Angora Dora wins the Group from judge Kevin.

In show B, judge Piper also picks Dora as the Group winner.
